DINNERS!
I have been cooking like a mug. Well, for our household, anyway. (Greg pretty much does all the cooking and dishes, since I hate dishes. I’ve been trying to up my game on the dinner-making front, though; chip in a little more.) Here are some dishes I’ve made lately:
Mushroom Stroganoff (for us and Jay and Lara)
Mushrooms Berkeley (twice in two weeks – once for just us, once for us and Jay and Lara)
Asparagus Pie (for us – next time I will make the béchamel sauce more flavorful, less mild; but it was my first time, and delicious enough)

Now that I think about it – isn’t that weird glowing fruit from True Blood called a lumos fruit?
Anyway, I am SUPER BEHIND in editing pictures, making posts, posting videos for the Makeup Heroes, and ESPECIALLY commenting on blogs – as I’m sure y’all have noticed. Mea culpa. Right on getting that fixed.

I’m feeling better, but I got sucked into the world of Irregular Choice/Poetic Licence shoes today. And might have bought myself a pair to wear in Spring/Summer. Which means I REALLY need to up my style-game. Um, for Spring/Summer. It’s too cold lately to really care about being cute, especially when it’s hiding under a bajillion layers. Boo. I’m real cute at home, though. But…you’ll just have to take my word for it, I guess.
I got packages to pack, shit to knit, and I need to START SEWING LIKE WHOA so I can wear those serious shoes with SERIOUS OUTFITS in a few months. Holy moley, what have I gotten myself into.
While I’m feeling under the weather, enjoy this crappy gif I made.

FOTD: Rose Plum (1/10/12)
Some of the Makeup Heroes are discussing doing 10-pans, or variations thereof. I’m still considering it – I don’t know if I have the willpower, to be honest, to not buy any new makeup until I’ve hit pan on 10 items. I’m still mulling it over – but I figured in the meantime, I *could* at least make an effort to use more of (if not all of) my stash. The Morgana Cryptoria bin was on top, so that’s what I’ve started with. (I’ve got most of my stash sorted by brand these days; that particular bin also holds a few Evil Shades lippies and shadows.)

i’m an asshole. what i meant to say was, i’ve got everything but two packages packed up and ready to mail out tomorrow. (unless the campus post office balks at mailing nail polish. but it’s properly marked, so, we’ll see.) the two others i still need to get addresses for (i’ll contact you, no worries), and they will go out bright and early saturday morning, if that’s cool with y’all. which it will have to be, because i am tired as a poopoo. good night.

Uh, so here’s the update: It’s 9:46pm, I’ve got everything packed up, sanitized all the lippies, and I am FUCKING KNACKERED. I WAS planning on running out to the post office tonight and mailing these puppies out – but 1-I’m knackered, and 2-I suspect that the overnight drop-off hatch will be locked by now. I don’t really know what it’s deal is, only that it’s sporadically open, even though supposedly you can put mail in it all night. But with my luck, and as tired as I am, it will definitely be locked. So I will mail packages tomorrow, which is what I’d planned on doing originally anyway.
I *think* I’ve kept the list up-to-date, marking off stuff as it gets claimed – but I’m not 100% sure. So, give me a day or two to make sure it’s caught up – or don’t wait, and take your chances. (I’ve got a meet-up tomorrow night – no idea how late it will run, or whether I’ll have time tomorrow night to update the list, but I should be able to get around to it over the weekend at the latest.)
Right. I’m going to go faceplant into my pillows. Whew! And yay for decluttering (even a small bit of destashing counts), and yay for unused makeups going out to new, loving homes. And now, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
FOTD: Wendy’s Sienna (1/9/12)
Wendy sent me some goodies a bit back, including Revlon Satin eyeshadow in Shimmering Sienna – which is just fucking lovely. I am particularly beset with this color paired with my eyecolor – and I wouldn’t have bought Shimmering Sienna on my own, so, fucking fantastic job, Wendy! Thanks so much, bb! Sorry about the creasing – but I took the pictures after, like, eight hours of wear, so….I think it’s allowed to crease at that point. (And I was too tired to touch it up before taking pics, sowwy!)
