Elann had Noro Kureyon Sock starting at noon today. I haven’t been excited about knitting in a while, even though I’ve got some WIPs I should be working on. I got a sneak peek email from them this morning, saw the Kureyon Sock and the pattern they recommend for it, and fell in love. Five hours after it went live, I finally had a chance to order it, and they’re already completely out. Motherfuck.
Oh well, money saved, I suppose. Plus I can still get the pattern booklet, and it’s not like there’s no more Kureyon Sock EVER. I just may not be able to get it at a sweet discount. (And I *could* make the sweater with some other yarn of the appropriate weight, but the KS in what Elann called “Cherry Festival” was so pretty and cheery and I just wanted it dammit. And I didn’t note the color number, and no one else has names for the shades, just numbers. And different swatches than Elann had, so it’s hard to tell which shade is “Cherry Festival.” BALLS. Grrrrr.)
Anyway. I need to get my knitting/sewing/crocheting on. It’s been too long.
PS: If you care, here’s the sweater, from Noro Catwalk Two:
