Wiggle Perfume: Review, the fourth

July 30, 2010 at 9:14 am (review, sing praises, smell)

Once again, let me remind you of how awesome Wiggle Perfume is: great prices; divine scents; cute and secure packaging; fast shipping; incredible customer service. You NEED some Wiggle in your life.

Now for the scent descriptions:
-101: Pink grapefruit, peony, cherry blossom, tuberose, and mint.
When I first applied this, I definitely noted a citrus-y note – must be the pink grapefruit. Now (about two hours later), it’s a more rounded scent, fuller but still light. If I pay attention, I can pick out the pink grapefruit still, but also a floral note, mostly I can identify the cherry blossom, but it’s not alone. (I think somehow I still don’t know what tuberose smells like on its own, nor peony, so it’s harder for me to identify, especially if it makes an accord.) And a very faint whiff of mint, which just gives it a nice freshness. I do like this scent quite a bit.

-Belle Marie: absinthe, frangipani, kudzu blossom, magnolia, vetiver, oakmoss, and sweetgrass.
I admit it: I was sold on this scent before I even read the notes in it. Marie Laveau and New Orleans? Hell yes, I’ll take some. I always wanted to be a voodoo queen, too! Now that I have it – I looooooove it! It’s hard to describe, other than “floral , but different.” Floriental? I don’t know, but I do know that 1-it’s smells good as hell, and 2-it smells kind of old-timey, but in a good way, so its scent totally conjures up Louisiana and Marie Laveau and the seductive, mysterious side of voodoo (as opposed to the, you know, occasional actual gory rites, which I also like, but don’t want to smell like). I love that this has kudzu blossom in it. I adore this scent, and will be getting a bigger size.

OOH will have to try the 101, have the Belle Marie. Do you “like” Wiggle on Facebook? Spotted they are doing something special, can’t remember what now.

Oh, no, I didn’t know they were on facebook – thanks for the tip! I never think to check for that stuff – even though I “like” Zoya, Hi-Fi Cosmetics, a couple others. For some reason, I’m still in the mode of “only people – not businesses – are on facebook.” I will go add them right now. :D
