FOTD: Trina Turk Clinique thingy (1/24/11)
One of my favorite lipsticks is probably Clinique’s All Heart, which I used to have but lost. It’s Clinique Bonus Time at Belk, and I’m on their mailing list so I got an email about it. And I’ve been meaning to try their Pore Minimizer Thermal-Active Skin Refiner, so I figured I’d get some free stuff with it. 
And one of the freebies just so happens to be my beloved All Heart, so, yay! Anyway, thinking about that over the weekend spurred me to get around to trying the “Trina Turk Fall favorites” I got in my first Clinique GWP. Um, yeah – I’ve been sitting on them that long. What can I say? The colors didn’t really speak to me. And now that they’re on my face, I’m not sure, either. They’re pretty, I guess. Maybe I’d like them better in combination with other colors? Although Daybreak seems pretty close to my skin color, so maybe it would make a good highlight shade? The Lash Doubling Mascara, though – BOO. I am not a fan of the wand – it just made it impossible to avoid getting little smudges on my eyelid. Eventually I gave up removing and reapplying, and just tried to get as much off with a q-tip as I could and call it a day. Anyway, onto the look.

-skipped foundation today (running late), and just went with Clinique Superdefense SPF 25 Age Defense Moisturizer (don’t like the smell, but that fades, and it feels great)
-Too Faced Shadow Insurance
-Clinique Colour Surge Eyeshadow Duo in Sparkling Sage (crease, outer vee) and Daybreak (lid, crease, brow)
-Clinique Quickliner for Eyes in Smoky Brown (tightlined, and a bit at the outer edges)
-Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara in Black
-Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Bamboo Pink
And I just realized I didn’t put any swatches up yesterday – whoops. Sorry, y’all. I’ll get back on schedule this weekend. Any ideas what I should swatch?

Your lip swatch is really good
I always hate taking lip swatches because I can never get them right. +I think i agree with elizabeth ^^

Thank you! I don’t know, I just always take them, so…I’ve taken alot of them. I think it’s just practice. Sometimes I have to take five pictures to get a workable one, though.
