FOTD: Otherworldly (2/23/11)
I wanted to try out the black primer I got from Darling Girl, and I thought Fyrinnae’s Otherworld might look good over it. I was not disappointed – I love, love, love! Otherworld over a black base.

-Fyrinnae Loose Eyeshadow in Otherworld (lid to just below browbone)
-e.l.f. Shimmer Palette in Sheer Sunrise (white shimmer as brow and inner corner highlight)
-Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Asphyxia (upper lashline)
-Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion (lower waterline – obviously digging the smudgy, messy, gross waterline right now)
-Nyx Doll Eye Volume Mascara
-e.l.f. Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara (brows)
-CoverGirl Nature Luxe Liquid Silk Foundation in Flax
-e.l.f. Shimmering Facial Whip in Camilia (apples of cheeks)
-MAC lipstick in Lickable
And then I tried playing with some weird zoom/macro settings on the camera.

And my current nailpolish: Milani Disco…something or other. (Pretty sure it’s Disco Lights, but can’t be arsed to go check the bottle.) The non-blurry one is, well, non-blurry, obviously. The blurry one is way more color-accurate. I’ve decided I need lots more glitter nailpolish. Yay for sparkles!

Freaking love this look! Its so summery and Otherworld is just so beautiful. And glitter nails- hell yeah! Im obsessed with them but I really hate removal time :/

I got the black primer from Darling Girl, but I think I need to give it a good shake, as it must have settled and was quite runny (on the pics it looks like dark paste on the website). Although I experienced no crease and it held the eyeshadow really nicely, will have to try it again some time

Mine was really runny, too, but blended out to a kind of uber-thin creamy consistency? It wasn’t as dark as on the website, but it seemed to do the trick. Maybe I’ll give mine a good shake, too, and see if it’s any thicker.

Thanks, lady! Although in my case it’s like half-on-purpose, half-not-skilled-enough-to-be-neater messy waterline – but I’ll just let people think it’s because I’ve always just had hot sex. Adds to the mystique. Or something.

Otherworld is definitely one of my favorite Fyrinnae shadows. I’ll definitely be getting a full-size of it. You do need it.

I definitely need to try out Otherworld! Your EOTD really makes your eyes stand out, maybe because of the purple eyeliner, maybe because of Otherworld’s green sheen…idk but it’s really gorgeous!
