Also? Totally went to uke jam tonight, and my new favorite five-year-old (seriously, she’s adorbs!) actually, unprompted, complimented me on my makeup because it was “sparkly and pretty.” JOY! Made me so, so happy, and feel like a pretty princess.
Bonus: one of my Frankens (I made about seven in my first go). This is a clear top coat with scads and scads of Aromaleigh’s Bette eyeshadow and Aphrodite glitter poured in, and then because it was a smidge too runny, I added a bit of a shimmery white from Milani, but just a bit, and more Bette and Aphrodite. I would say in real life it has kind of a suede finish to it – not truly matte, not truly shimmery. Kind of whole-heartedly love it, can’t wait to see what it looks like with a clear topcoat, and am TOTES going to rip this combo off for a matching eye look soon. Shameless!

I know, I kind of love her. Totally love her. I’m glad Greg got the big snip, because she is adorable, and kind of makes my ovaries twinge. And she loves everyone. I don’t know her parents that well (other than that they’re both really nice, but it’s just kind of a casual acquaintance so far), but they are doing something right.

Thank you! I’ve been having fun with color lately, and especially trying to push outside my comfort zone (although have made much headway yet, but, you know, I’m trying – and your looks are such an inspiration to me to just get the yellows and oranges and browns out and have a go).

What’s funny is my camera was *refusing* to do a macro of both my eyes, and I was like, “gods dammit, you WILL do this!” and made it focus on one eye – and it came out like that. And I was like, “See, you DO do this…..actually, I rather like this.”
And Bane + Lollipop Pop both smell good, and smell good together! Although then I kept trying to eat them instead of wear them, but whatever, I just got to reapply more.
